Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture connections to build a client base by employing diverse sourcing strategies like in-person meetings, online outreach, referrals, social media networking, and participation in public speaking events.
  • Foster trust and construct personalized, comprehensive plans by thoroughly understanding the needs, priorities, and concerns of clients and potential clients, ultimately supporting them in reaching their goals.
  • Regulate branch operations, roles, and obligations to uphold a high-level, seamless customer service experience aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Team up with the branch staff to devise, oversee, and adjust the branch's business plan to elevate branch effectiveness and reach desired business outcomes.
  • Develop a supportive branch culture centered on trust, mutual respect, effective feedback mechanisms, and a culture of ownership among team members.

Benefits:

Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), disability income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Income continuation, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to financial advisors. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account and flexible spending account. Financial advisors enjoy flexibility in their schedule and, where required by applicable law, are eligible for paid sick leave and paid time off. Financial advisors may be eligible for bonuses; profit sharing; paid medical and parental leave for Financial Advisors that satisfy eligibility requirements; and participation in the firm's Travel Award Program. Compensation:

Recognizing the dedication and time investment required for business building, we have introduced an innovative financial advisor compensation framework. This tailored program is crafted to incentivize and recognize individuals as they gain the necessary skills, processes, and business strategies crucial for excelling within our customer-focused business model. The new financial advisor compensation structure consists of starting salaries, additional compensation for a period of five years, as well as commissions and incentives for acquiring new assets during the first five years.

Financial rewards for emerging financial advisors

The initial salary range can be augmented to between $45,000 and $100,000

Skills/Requirements:

Prospective candidates must meet the criteria of at least one of the four qualifications outlined in the bullets:

  • A bachelor's degree is the preferred qualification, or an equivalent level of experience in the securities/financial services sector is also valued
  • Prior exposure to financial services and sales is expected
  • Approval process for financial service providers
  • Climbing the ranks in a professional or military career showcases a track record of success and a commitment to excel in one's chosen field

Licensing:

  • SIE (which can be obtained without Firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 will be required; if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned paid study period.
  • It is essential to obtain FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses within a three-month period.
  • Engaging in ongoing training programs organized by the firm and regulatory bodies such as FINRA and the SEC, in addition to fulfilling mandatory CE requirements, is crucial for associates to uphold the validity of their licenses.
