Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate connections to expand your customer base by utilizing various approaches including personal meetings, virtual interactions, referrals, social media engagement, and participation in public speaking engagements.
  • Accelerate the establishment of trust and forge personalized, comprehensive strategies by thoroughly comprehending the needs, priorities, and concerns of both clients and potential clients to help them achieve their goals.
  • Control branch processes, roles, and obligations to ensure a high-caliber, smooth client service consistent with company guidelines, legal stipulations, and ethical standards.
  • Enlist the support of the branch workforce to devise, monitor, and refine the branch's operational strategy for heightened branch efficiency and the realization of desired business achievements.
  • Encourage a vibrant branch setting where trust is paramount, respect is foundational, feedback is valued, and accountability is ingrained in the team culture.

Compensation:

Acknowledging the time and effort investment needed for business development, we are pleased to introduce a fresh financial advisor compensation program. This program is designed to provide support and recognition as you acquire the essential skills, systems, and operational approaches required to excel within our customer-first business model. The updated financial advisor compensation plan includes entry-level pay, an added income component for a span of five years, and rewards for commissions and accruing new assets within the initial five-year period.

Skills/Requirements

To be considered, individuals must have at least one of the four qualifications outlined in the bullets below:

  • It is highly recommended that candidates have a bachelor's degree, or possess equivalent professional background in the securities/financial services sector
  • Previous involvement in financial services or sales is a must
  • Acquiring official permission or accreditation for offering financial services
  • Moving forward in a professional or military profession is indicative of one's commitment to continuous improvement and achieving long-term goals

Licensing:

  • Successful completion of the SIE exam, Series 7, and Series 66 is necessary to join Edward Jones, and individuals can get these registrations during the paid study duration they are assigned.
  • Within three months, individuals must ensure they have FINRA registrations and state insurance licenses.
  • It is necessary for associates to partake in ongoing training sessions facilitated by the company and regulatory entities like FINRA and the SEC, as well as to adhere to compulsory continuing education prerequisites in order to keep licenses active.
